Jennifer and I took a trip up to Portland for my birthday earlier this year. We flew in and went to go pick up the rental car. The rental car experience was nothing short of insane. The lady at the counter was going on about how we would be better off in a wheel barrow rather than the surprise car that we booked online. Jennifer and I are pretty sure that she upgraded us on the house which was super cool of her to do. We went out into the lot to find our vehicle for the weekend. I threw the luggage in the back of a Mazda 3 and before I could even get the seat adjusted Jennifer was off to the races for the next vehicle as the Mazda was a little small for me. So out I go and grab the luggage and follow her onto the next vehicle. We danced this dance a handful of times before one of the employees came up and asked us if we needed some help. We laid out the issues at hand with the previous few cars and he put us into a Chevy Malibu and things seemed great until we discovered the seat heaters didn't work in that car. Portland in January isn't necessarily the coldest place you could be but it isn't warm either. The gentleman that was helping us said ya know what why don't you cruise down to the end of the row and take the GMC Sierra. We did not upgrade to that level of vehicle but he insisted that it would be quite alright. So without questioning anymore we hopped in and drove off into the city.
